- A precise briefing before the Paris visit.
- Addresses selected for the assignment, never a standard tour.
- Guided fittings and coordinated purchases.
- A clothing budget separate from styling fees.
Avenue Montaigne brings major houses together, but a concentration of prestigious addresses does not guarantee a good selection. Without direction, several hours can disappear into impressive pieces that serve neither the brief nor the existing wardrobe.
NAFI's role is not to give a tour of Parisian luxury. It is to translate a brief into a clear route and remove what looks seductive in a boutique but has no real place in the client's life.
1. What cannot be seen from the street
Each house has its own vocabulary, volumes, cuts and pace. A remarkable jacket in one may be less relevant than a quieter pair of trousers in another. The real decision lies in the fitting, the proportion and the conversation between pieces.
Depending on the period and availability, a boutique may prepare a selection or arrange an appointment. This is never presented as guaranteed access: the value of the service remains the relevance of the preparation.
2. Avenue Montaigne within a wider route
The Golden Triangle connects Avenue Montaigne, Avenue George V and the surrounding streets. Faubourg Saint-Honoré, Saint-Germain or Le Marais may complement the day when the brief calls for another point of view.
The route is not designed to tick off maisons. It combines the addresses able to solve an assignment: tailoring, eveningwear, shoes, accessories, travel pieces or the broader construction of a wardrobe.
3. Why work with a personal shopper
Time in the boutique is only part of the work. Beforehand, NAFI clarifies uses, sizes, preferences, dislikes, upcoming events and the shopping budget. She then prepares a coherent order to avoid unnecessary backtracking.
During fittings, she observes drape, movement and possible combinations. A piece is kept only when it works on its own and with the rest of the selection.
On Paris's most observed avenue, the most elegant decision is often the piece you choose not to buy.
4. A day designed for international visitors
For a visitor, the main constraint is often the schedule. The briefing starts before arrival so the hours in Paris can be spent on useful fittings rather than orientation.
NAFI works in French and English. Times, meeting point and priorities are confirmed before the session. Purchases are paid directly to the boutiques and are not included in the styling fee.
5) How the session works
After the initial exchange, NAFI builds the route and confirms the format. On the day, she guides the fittings, coordinates the pieces and adjusts the search when reality contradicts the original idea.
For an assignment broader than one area or one outfit, the Personal Shopper in Paris page explains the full method. Available formats are gathered on the Services and pricing page.
6. Luxury without artificial promises
Private appointments, salons and non-displayed pieces depend on the houses, collections and availability. NAFI does not promise them automatically. She promises a prepared route, an independent eye and a selection that still makes sense once the client is home.
Frequently asked questions
Essential answers before arranging a session in the Golden Triangle.
Do we have to shop only on Avenue Montaigne?
No. The avenue may be the heart of the route, but NAFI adds or removes areas according to the pieces required.
Are private appointments guaranteed?
No. They depend on the houses, timing and availability. The route is not built on a promise of systematic access.
What clothing budget should I plan?
The client defines the budget during the briefing. Boutique purchases remain separate from NAFI's fees.
Do you work with men and couples?
Yes. A route can be designed for a woman, a man or a couple, with shared or separate priorities.
How long does a session last?
Duration depends on the number of categories and the preparation required. NAFI confirms the format after the briefing; guidance is available on the Services and pricing page.
The avenue is the setting. Your wardrobe remains the subject.
Share your dates, priorities and shopping context. NAFI will prepare the appropriate route.
